Do you need help with...

Hypnotherapy can treat emotional or psychological issues, simple bad habits, or just aid in relaxation. Treatments allow you to use your own inner resources, to reorganise your thoughts and behaviours to bring about beneficial, long lasting changes. There are absolutely no side effects and hypnosis is a perfectly natural state we can all access if given the right circumstances.

Call now and let me help you make positive changes to master your thoughts and feelings.

What is 3 Thinking?

Do you suffer as a result of your thoughts or actions? Are you controlled by your external environment? Do you feel constantly stressed, anxious or worried? Let me help you alter those feelings and together we can find a way towards a long lasting positive change.

Free your mind…. Free your thinking….

The basis of my approach to the therapy is that we all have a hidden, undiscovered ability to choose so many of the things that we assume are beyond our control. For instance if we are beset by persistent, troubling thoughts we will assume that we can not simply choose not to have these thoughts or stop the thought as soon as it arrives, yet, with the use of hypnotherapy and NLP, this is quickly achievable.

By using the Three powerful methods together….

We can change, correct or improve anything you wish to as you seek to become a better person. Find the solutions you need to make that positive step forward and improve the quality of your life.

What is NLP?

NLP is an acronym for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. It was founded by Richard Bandler and John Grinder. NLP has been described as "A User Guide for the Brain'. NLP is a study of excellence, a study of human behaviour. NLP Consists of various techniques and methods for personal development and growth. Neurology, the anatomy of the brain, why we think and behave the way we do.

Linguistic the language we use both internally and externally.
Programming Is our behaviour inconsistent with our goals?
Are our goals aligned with our values?

Neuro – our minds and how we think Linguistic – The language we use and how it affects us Programming – The sequence of our actions/habits and how they bring us closer or further away from our goals.

How does NLP work and what does it do?

NLP can help instantly with situations and obstacles that occur, limitations that stop us achieving our desired outcome.

By identifying unwanted behaviours, thoughts, feelings and beliefs we can take control and reprogram our neurology to align it to a more beneficial way of thinking and communicating to ourselves and other people.

NLP enables clear communication between your conscious and subconscious mind in order to achieve what you want in life.

What is Coaching and how does it work?

Coaching is essential for anyone who wants the best version of themselves. It’s a great process that touches all areas of your life.

Whether it’s life coaching, personal development coaching or sports coaching or any other title you may have heard, the goal is pretty much the same; to transform your situation into pure greatness.

All those problems or challenges holding you back don’t stand a chance against good coaching.

With the help of a good coach, you will be able to set realistic goals, have a clear and objective look at the solutions. A coach can help you identify the cause of that lack of fulfilment and help you see the solutions that you could employ to assist you in attaining the solution may lie in how you manage your time for instance.

By managing your time better, you can still continue to achieve success at the workplace while at the same time make time to tend to other neglected parts of your life to attain that fulfilment. The answer may be there all the time but overlooked, due to our busy everyday lives.

With the right encouragement we give the subconscious all the power it needs to process the information and come up with the answer we require.

Coaching is all about partnering up with a professional to help you identify areas you could better, explore reasons as to why you are not achieving a certain goal in your life, and then come up with solutions on the way forward. Motivation, drive and life perspective. All have to come from within as that is what will propel you to do much better, achieve more, and even become a better person all around.

What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a wonderful relaxing treatment that allows us to access our subconscious mind. The subconscious part of our mind can be described as a map of our lives and by accessing it hypnotherapists believe we can correct, change or improve anything we wish to.

Your unconscious has many roles such as storing memories, providing you with motivation & guiding your beliefs. You use your unconscious mind for everyday skills such as driving & talking. It’s also where our habits, (good and bad) come from e.g. people who bite their nails don’t think about it, they just do it. The part that is ‘doing it,’ is the unconscious.

The unconscious also keeps us safe. In the likes of say anxiety, a phobia or any of the treatments we provide, an experience or an event/s takes place which means our behaviour e.g scared of wanting to go on a plane, is directly at odds with what we want i.e. going on a holiday. That’s why Clinical Hypnotherapy can be so powerful; because it is possible to learn new skills giving to provide you behaviours e.g. being calm, not anxious*.

Most of us find consciously changing our behaviour, very hard. You cannot consciously control your unconscious mind. Think of someone wanting not to be anxious before a presentation. Often times, they will focus on ‘not being anxious’, which makes them think of being anxious and the whole cycle of anxiety begins. Clinical Hypnotherapy can help you stop that by working directly with you consciously and most importantly, unconsciously*. Or take the person who’s quit smoking only to start again after their first glass of wine. The part of your mind that ‘makes’ you do the behaviour is your unconscious.

Clinical Hypnotherapy can help with calming the mind, the chatter we experience daily that can lead to anxiety stress or depression. You will feel calmer, more relaxed and more able to manage day to day problems, improve your self belief, become more motivated and make permanent changes to becoming the best you, you can be.

You don’t need to have a problem to experience hypnotherapy it is wonderful just for pure relaxation a little time out of a very busy world.

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a guided trance to an altered state where you can access your subconscious. Your subconscious is where you store all your life experiences and where your inner excellence and wisdom is based. By accessing it via hypnosis, you are bypassing your logical, critical mind and you are able to make positive, powerful and lasting changes to your own life. You are making all the changes that you want to make and the hypnotherapist acts as your ‘tour guide’ To learn more about hypnotherapy and hypnosis, visit: What is Hypnotherapy?

How do I know that hypnosis is safe?

We know it is safe, because we use it every single day.

We all experience everyday trance many times throughout each day. e.g. when driving, watching telly, ‘daydreaming’, or as a friend of mine described it: ‘going to my empty box’.

The difference between naturally going into this state of trance or it being an induced trance is that in the latter version, the hypnotherapist has a clear outcome that was set by you, and guides you to your own solutions, goals and answers. This can be described as a hypnotic focus.

What is hypnosis used for?

Hypnosis is used as a treatment for various long-term conditions and for breaking certain habits. In general hypnotherapy can be applied to a wide range of medical, dental and psychological problems.

Benefits of Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy may help with the following and many more:

What is the difference between hypnosis and meditation?

The actual state you are getting into is very similar; the line between hypnosis and meditation is the outcome. 'While meditation clears the mind with the aim of relaxing it, hypnosis does so with the intention of changing it.’

What do I need to be hypnotised?

Intelligence, Imagination, Concentration.

As long as you have those three, anyone can be hypnotised to different levels.

I’m afraid I am going to get stuck in trance. Can that happen?

This misconception comes from movies. There has been no record of anyone ever getting stuck in trance.

If your subconscious drifts into this lovely, altered state of relaxation too deeply, the only thing that can happen is that you fall into sleep. (Maybe because your mind or body actually needed that time to rest…) And after a few minutes you will wake up naturally like you would in the morning, feeling relaxed and well rested.

When you hypnotise me, am I going to lose control?

Absolutely not. Quite the contrary.

In a hypnotic state you are aware of everything that is happening around you and you are in full control over your body and mind. IF at any point your mind did not feel comfortable with something that was happening, you would come around straight away, open your eyes and come back to here and now. What happens most of the time is that our mind chooses to stay in that altered state, because it knows that it is a lovely, relaxing and a very useful state to be in.

But if, for example, there was an emergency while you were in hypnosis, your mind and body would respond immediately, you would come around straight away without any prompting from the practitioner and your body and mind would function as normal.

You are going to make me do all sorts of things that I don’t want to do?

The simple answer to this one is: I can’t.

This misconception comes from movies and from stage shows. I cannot make you do anything you don’t want to do. A hypnotist certainly cannot make somebody do something against their will, their moral or religious beliefs. So what about those people on the shows? Those people want to be on the stage, want to perform and want to be part of the show. A hypnotherapist cannot make anyone ‘dance like a chicken’ unless it is congruent with their subconscious and their beliefs.

What is the difference between stage hypnosis and therapeutic hypnosis?

The tools and techniques used in both stage and clinical hypnosis are the same, however the outcome is completely different. Stage hypnosis is usually used for entertainment whereas clinical hypnosis has a therapeutic outcome. You may see clinical hypnosis being used in front of many people, sometimes even on a stage, however it is not for entertainment but for demonstration purposes to increase awareness and show people how it works.
